I am currently 33 years old.
What I did not realize for much of my life is that I had been clinically depressed since junior high.
After college, I began to have periodic major depressive episodes.

These are amino acid supplements, totally natural and with no side effects, and you know, a much lower price than the SSI drugs the doctors, I will keep that opinion to myself, can prescribe.
I am feeling great andhonestly more productive than ever!
I am sleeping much better, not perfect but getting my rest.
I am going to venture to say that if I tried this method 30 years ago, my life would be much different overall!

I found out about 5HTP 4 few years ago.

I decided to try 5HTP.
It took some higher dosing to start for a couple of weeks, but I started noticing a difference in how I felt.
I evened it out and eventually got to one 100mg tablet a day for maintenance.

Her writing style is very self-congratulatory and annoying in my opinion, but there is some good info on a few different amino acid supplements.
As with everything, use caution if you're trying to transition.
Start with 25mg and work your way up as you go down on your other medication.
I never needed to go beyond 100mg to feel fine and to sleep like I imagine a lot of people take for granted - through the night!
